Duane's Story
Life
After graduating from BHS I went straight to work. (I actually began working in high school, it just continued) whilst most friends went off to college.
In 1985 I went to work for a manufacturing company in Chicago where I performed many jobs throughout my tenure with my final position as a Regional Sales Manager. During this period I somehow managed to attain two college degrees. Business/Computers.
Then it happened, in 1994 I traveled to Phoenix, Arizona and fell in love -- with the state. Some may say my next action was slightly irrational, but when I returned to Chicago I gave my 2 week notice from a job I had for 9 years and headed West. No job, no home, and basically no money.
Of course I eventually found a home. Then I miraculously landed a job with another manufacturing company as their National Sales Manager.

h a medical device company that manufactured vascular implants. During this period I earned and MBA.
In 2000, I finally decided that I had enough of bachelorhood and got married to my beautiful bride Chae Rael. We now have 2 handsome boys Kyler Jacob (almost 3) and Dawson Kennedy (almost 1).
When 2001 arrived I decide to accept a executive postion with an operating company of Johnson & Johnson in Northern California that manufactured blood glucose monitoring devices. (did I mention that California is a really expensive place to live, beautiful, but expensive)
Anyway, great job, great company, however, with the downturn in the economy, they too had cutbacks in which I was a victim. Imagine a company like a J&J which profits something like 12 billion a year cutting back and downsizing.
Oh well, it worked out for the best because I really missed Arizona. Hence, in late 2003, I returned to this awesome state where I currently sit in semi-retirement pondering my next move.
